*** 3.5 Stars ***I actually quite enjoyed this book, I was definitely pleasantly surprised! Nice version of the vampire story and how new vampires are 'made'. I like the main character Zoey, she seems pretty down to earth even when she discovers that she has special powers and that she is a very unique vampyre fledling.
And (in my opinion) it's not too 'angsty' like I find a lot of YA/NA books to be. There is a bit of love drama going on though, she deosn't seem able to choose between her ex-boyfriend and one of the other fledlings at her new school. I am hoping this won't be a huge part of the next books, I'm not a huge fan of the love-triangle dramas...
I will definitely be reading the next book in the series, I am very interested in seeing what will happen next.
