Switched

Switched - Amanda Hocking I enjoyed reading this series. Even though it is a Young Adult it was not overly filled with teen angst like so many in its genre. And I like that it was not the "traditional" creatures in it, but trolls or Trylle as they are called.

We meet Wendy who doesn't know she is a Trylle, and has grown up with humans like it is tradition to do in her "tribe". Her world changes when she starts getting powers that isn't human, and she discovers who she really is.

It does have its moments of teen love and heartbreak and angst and frustration, but it doesn't go over the top, and didn't ruin my reading experience.

Would recommend if you enjoy reading YA fantasy :)
